Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu film Mahanati. She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents are film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began in early 2000s as a child actor. Her return to film after studying fashion. Her debut lead role came in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began to work on films that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. She also signed up to star in several Tamil films at the same time. It was A. L. Vijay along alongside Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do very well, but it did get released. In order to fit in bigger projects, she had to cancel projects she'd started working on. They comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. Within a brief period she also worked alongside Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini Murugan, Remo and she also acted as the lead in Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. Her Telugu debut had been planned as Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film's release was postponed in 2015 and will now occur after September in 2020. It'll have an alternative title Janakitho Nauu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) with actor Vijay.
