It was The Bodyguard (1996) that made her one of music's best sellers. Although the film and the actor's performance weren't well-received, the soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her most popular single and albums for many months. The album sold over 44 million copies worldwide. The same year, she was married the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she was the sole parent of their child Bobbi Kristina Brown, born in March 1993.
