Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (born 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey) is the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston. Her mother and she started singing professionally at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the year Whitney was just 15 years old. They sang backing vocals on Chaka Kans' smash hit in 1978 Im Every Woman. Jermaine, her mother Lou Rawls and Jermaine the artists she backed up. In 1981 her cover was published on the cover of Seventeen Magazine. Beginning in 1981, she started to work as a vocalist in the New York funk group Material. This resulted in her having seven US Number Ones in a row. The singer beat the Beatles. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies and then went to 25,000,000 world-wide. The album earned her the first in the six Grammys she has won. Its Whitney 1987 release, featuring The Place You Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as songs, helped to build on the successes she'd achieved. However, it was The Bodyguard 1992 which cemented her status as one of the most well-known artists in the world. While the film wasn't an immediate success, nor was her performance, the soundtrack of her Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You hit the number one spot on both the album and single charts in the US for a period of time. Her sales exceeded 44 million albums across the globe. The same year, she married Bobby Brown who was a previous New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown. They were married in March 1993. It was about this time that her widely documented drug use began and by 1996, she was a regular drug user.

Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN anchorperson, reporter as well as a political correspondent. She has produced a variety of weekend programs on the network including Evans & Novak Late Edition" as well as Inside Politics. Bash has also worked with other well-known channels, such as NBC and CBS. Coming to her distinctions and awards Bash was previously included in the Women in Washington Power List in Elle magazine.
